Overhaul Masson gearbox Somtrans IV

For our customer Somers we provide annually to all Somtrans ships the gearbox inspection. Employability of the ships is precedence. During the gearbox inspection on the Somtrans IV damage was found on a bearing fit of the Masson gearbox, type RSL 1250.
The gearbox is disassembled on board and then transported to our workshop. Here is a complete overhaul performed by Reikon. After replacing the gearbox and an extensive trial could the Somtrans IV resume its work.
